Make your practice useful

Work on what matters to you.

New to sailing or returning after a break? We’ll meet you where you are.

  • Get comfortable steering and handling the boat
  • Work on sail trim, tacking, gybing and upwind sailing
  • Build crew communication and teamwork

Your coach will adapt the session to your goals and the conditions on the day.

Before you book.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes. We can start with the basics or focus on skills you already want to improve. Tell us about your experience when you get in touch.

How are the sessions arranged?

Three hours is one session, six hours is two sessions, and twelve hours is four sessions. We agree your dates before booking, subject to instructor availability and suitable conditions.

Can two people learn together?

Yes. Choose a two-sailor option to share the coach and boat with a friend or partner. That price covers both people. Similar experience and goals help you get the most from shared coaching.

Does this include ASA certification?

Private coaching supports your learning but does not automatically include certification. If a qualification is your goal, explore our ASA courses or ask us which route suits you.
