Get on the Water in Howe Sound
Sailing in Squamish shouldn't require a course, a membership, or a friend with a boat. Sailing Socials are how people around here get their first taste of the water — and keep coming back.
What It Is
Sailing Socials run every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through the summer. You join a small group — three guests max — on a keelboat in Howe Sound, with one of our instructors at the helm. It's not a formal lesson and it's not a casual drift. It's somewhere in between: you'll trim sails, take the helm, and start building an instinct for the water.
Sessions are a couple of hours on the sound. You'll learn by doing, not by watching. Our instructors keep it relaxed, but you'll leave knowing more than when you arrived.
This is how a lot of InFlow's ASA students got started — they did a sailing social first, got hooked, and then came back to get certified. No pressure either way.
Payment: Full payment required to reserve a spot.
Cancellation:
- Cancel 14+ days before start date: full refund minus processing fees
- Cancel 7–13 days before: 50% refund
- Cancel 0–6 days before: no refund (spot is held and staffing is committed)
Rescheduling: If space allows, we’ll do our best to move students to another week.
Weather: Weather-related program adjustments are part of sailing. Refunds are not issued for weather-based modifications.
Safety: We reserve the right to remove a participant for unsafe behavior.
